Compensation Program…

A return on your investment in time…

“Money’s not everything, but it does rank right up there with Oxygen”.   Zig Ziglar… Time is money, and it’s as important to you as it is to your manager, that you realize a return immediately.  How quickly you advance depends entirely upon your willingness to apply the program as it has been designed.

Earn while you learn…

Each individual will experience different results.  However, our proven program coupled with a good attitude, has produced successful results for our student sales consultants for more than 40 years.  Our goal is to have you making presentations and writing orders within your first week.  Tradeshow day earn $100 per day plus commissions on each unit sold… A “Unit Sale” earns $90.

On Your Own…

When you begin to do presentations on your own and average 5 “Unit Sales” a week, your commissions would be approximately $450 per week, which is common for a top student consultant.  If you average this throughout a competition period, your total commissions should be approximately $7,500, provided you have followed the program properly.  Understanding the value of setting and meeting goals within a certain time period (deadlines) is all part of the corporate world you will enter after graduation…

Set a Goal, and Stick to it!

5 shipped “Unit Sales” sales per week = $450

17 week competition period X $450 = $2,975

Plus a Cash Scholarship Award of $3,000

Total $5,975.00

*Trade Show Days worked depend on the Student’s availability and company scheduling

Scholarship Awards

During the course of the year, Health Craft recognizes top student consultants during three separate scholarship competitions;
     January through April
     May through August, and...
     September through December

With each competition period you will set a Performance Goal with your manager and begin to work towards your Scholarship Bonus.  Scholarship Awards are based on the total of your shipped “Unit Sales”.  With 5 shipped Unit Sales per week your total shipped Unit Sales units would be 85.  You would have earned a $3,000.00 Cash Scholarship Award and a valuable addition to your resume. Scholarship Awards are presented at the end of each competition period during a special ceremony held in honor of student recipients.

“Management” Servicing Bonus

Another common challenge for any businessperson is hiring, training and managing people.  When you personally Sponsor and Field Train a new Student Sales Consultant into the business, you will receive a 3% Servicing Bonus on your new salespersons shipped unit sales.

·         Example:  If you were to Mentor a Student Consultant in the business, and they ship 2.5 Unit Sale per week, 10 Unit Sales in the course of a month, you would receive a $150 “Management” Servicing Bonus.

·         Example:  If you were to Mentor 3 Student Consultants into the business, and they each ship 2.5 Unit Sale per week, 30 Unit Sales in the course of a month, you would receive a $450 “Management” Servicing Bonus.

o   To receive a “Management” Servicing Bonus”: a Consultant must have mentored a Student Consultant.  The Servicing Bonus is paid as long as you remain active and deliver 14 Unit Sales per month.

Consultant Position FAQ’S…

What does a Health Craft Student Consultant do?

Health Craft student consultants present our products to prospective customers through Consumer Tradeshows and one-on-one “follow-up” appointment presentations.  Common activities include:

·         Working local Tradeshows with experienced personnel and some Tradeshows on your own.

·         Setting appointments with potential customers through personal contacts and referrals.

·         Presenting Health Craft products to prospective customers and writing up customer orders.

·         Reviewing your goals in relationship to your personal performance with your Campus Relations Manager through meetings and phone calls.

·         Attending training sessions and conferences from time to time that are offered regularly to increase knowledge and productivity.

What work schedules are available?

Because Student Consultants are independent contractors, they set their own schedules and determine how many tradeshow days they will work during a scholarship period and appointment presentation they conduct in a given week.  There is no minimum number of appointments a Consultant must conduct.

Why are Health Craft Consultants independent contractors?

The independent contractor status is at the heart of a well-designed direct-selling business model.  It is the fastest growing marketing model for products in North America today. This model drives an entire industry that includes; Avon, Tupperware, the Pampered Chef, and Longaberger Baskets to name just a few.  Rather than investing in advertising, direct selling companies depend on Consultants to market the product.  In turn, these Consultants enjoy an extremely flexible schedule in which they can earn an income based on their performance.

Our products have been sold on a direct selling basis since the company’s inception in 1959.  Other industries that are based on an independent contractor relationship include real estate, insurance, and financial services.

Is training provided?

Yes.  Health Craft offers a training program that is specifically designed for individuals who have little or no business or sales experience.  The initial training is designed to instill confidence in the trainee, and consists classroom training as well as a 3 day session at a local Consumer Tradeshow.

After the initial training seminar, representatives are encouraged to attend advanced training workshops on a variety of topics designed to enhance their sales success.  These include:

·         Building Rapport

·         Setting and Achieving Goals

·         Time Management

Applying what you have learned?

After working a consumer tradeshow with an experienced training, Student Consultants are encouraged to practice and apply what they have learned presenting our products to people they know and trust.  In an encouraging environment, the new Student Consultant can develop a comfort with the presentation and receive valuable feedback.

How are Consultants paid?

Our program enhances the confidence of a Student Consultant while also maintaining a comfortable purchasing environment for our customers.  Student Consultants earn a commission on purchases made.  Commissions from sales are paid weekly.  Most Consultants earn two to three times more for their time and effort then the average hourly wage jobs available to students.

Are student Consultants required to invest in samples?

No: Upon successful completion of the initial orientation and training process, a Student Consultant is consigned a “Student Success Kit” that has a value of $700.00.  You can earn your samples by having the cost deducted from earnings, or return your samples in good and resalable condition at the end of the Scholarship Period.

Training Program

The road to success with Health Craft begins with training.  Professors and business leaders throughout North America recognize our training program as being both highly effective and innovative.  Specifically designed for individuals who have little or no business experience, the initial training seminar, consisting of three to four day sessions, is designed to instill confidence in the trainee.  Student Consultants earn $100 per tradeshow day worked.  Along with enhancing the interpersonal skills a representative brings to the program, our training concentrates on product knowledge and communication skills.

Specifically, consultants are taught how to make presentations, book appointments, meet with potential customers, demonstrate the products, answer questions, write up orders, and book appointments.
